Founder and lead Instructor Trainer became an instructor in 1987 teaching in Houston. He is an RN and former US Marine and former Police Officer. Likes SCUBA, offshore fishing, floating the river, chillin at the lake and pack hiking!

TYLERLIFEGUARD was founded in 2002 and was formerly known as Gulf Coast Rescue Training. Our clientele included The City of Houston Parks and Recreation, Houston Police Department, Galveston Police and Sheriff’s Departments Search and Rescue Divisions, among many other emergency response agencies and personnel. We began back in 1987 teaching 1st Aid, CPR, Lifeguarding, Search and Rescue, and even swimming lessons. We now serve the Greater East Texas Region with Tyler as our base and offer a great many more ER courses and certifications.
Our clientele include responders from awesome organizations such as Pine Cove, Sky Ranch, ETMC, Mother Francis, Youth With A Mission, Mercy Ships, Camp Tyler, East Texas Aquatics, Willowbrook Country Club, Scuba Steve's Dive Shop, Tyler Metro and the Stonefort Encampment, Allaso Ranch, Holly Tree, Wood Creek Athletic, Tyler Tennis and Swim, The City of Tyler, Overton, Rusk and Rusk State Hospital, TJC, Heart to Heart Hospice, The Clairmont Tyler and Oakbrook Skilled Nursing Facility, just to name a few!
